Health Promotion Director
Are you responsible for establishing or enhancing the quality of your worksite health promotion program? This course guides you through a process of hands-on experience and practical information, enabling you to custom-design the most effective program for your organization. Wellness professionals from a variety of backgrounds including human resources, wellness/fitness coordinators and directors, nursing and dietetics will find a variety of tools for wellness programming. Culminating in a group project designed to spark creativity and provide networking opportunities, you’ll leave with new resources to jump start your program.

This is a curriculum-based testing course. Students who complete the course and pass both the written and practical exams receive a Cooper Institute Certificate.

Day 1: (Check-in 7:30 am) 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Day 2-4: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Day 5: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Needed Items:
Please wear casual attire to class each day, but bring fitness attire with you for activity. You will need to bring a calculator, a #2 pencil, notebook paper, and, should you choose, a laptop computer.
